Founded in year 2010, several final yeat students of Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) have decided to form a team to represent MMU in Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2011. As first timer, they have faced many obstacles such as financial and technical support. However with the spirits of perseverance and support from fellow lecturer advisor, they have successfully finished the competition with result better than expectation.
The achievement in SEMA 2011 has attracted more undergraduates to join the competition and a stronger team for SEMA 2012 is formed. With the experienced gained in SEMA 2011, the team have managed to secured rank 7 in SEMA 2012 gasoline prototype category, which is rank 2 in Malaysia, right after USM with a small gap of 2km/l difference.
